We encourage God’s people to reach out to orphans. Heart for Orphans is passionate about supporting orphans to adulthood and encouraging their faith in Christ.
Our Mission
Minister to the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of orphans in Ukraine by:
Making disciples through Christ-centered, loving relationships.
It is all about relationship. Without Christ we wouldn’t be doing this. Our Bible teachers are able to introduce Christ to young orphans because of the relationships they have with their students. Relationships draw older orphans to Christ in our group homes.
Preparing and assisting orphans as they transition to adulthood.
Our Bible teachers in the state orphanages teach Christian ethics and life skills. The house parents in our group homes model a healthy marriage and equip orphaned teens to make wise choices and live responsible lives in their communities.
Encouraging adoption of older orphans into Christian homes.
We are not an adoption agency but many of us have adopted from Ukraine. We share our experiences with others embarking on this path. We provide adoption resources on this web site.
Raising awareness of these children and helping to meet their needs.
We speak to churches in the United States. We lead mission trips to share the vision. We host orphans groups from Ukraine. We tell everyone we can about these children and how we can help.
