What's Happening in Ukraine?

As some of you know, our founders, Steve and Nancy, along with our translator, Valerie, just arrived home from Eastern Europe. They went through Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. It was gut-wrenching for them to listen to the stories, the fears and the heart breaks of each of our Heart for Orphans family groups. They cried together and prayed together.

Each group said the same thing: they just live one day at a time! They cannot plan or dream. They are so frightened for friends and family who are still in country. They hope their homes are still standing. They are angry. They cry over the young boys who have been drafted into the army. Several said they want to go back to their own home--home to their own country--if there is a country to go back to.

Please pray as we still have one large Transition House family group that has not yet crossed the border of Ukraine. The reason? Ever changing laws about which documents are required that will allow them to leave. Please pray for favor for them and a smooth transition to their new home!
